Long ago, a very special baby was about to be born.
This baby would grow up to be stronger than many warriors and become one of the greatest heroes in the world.
But who was this baby? And what made him so special?
The story began with a woman named Anjana.
Anjana lived with her husband, Kesari, a brave Vanara chief.
They were happy together, but Anjana had one big wish.
She wanted a baby.
So, Anjana began praying to Lord Shiva.
Every day, she prayed with love and faith.
“Lord Shiva, please bless me with a child,” she wished.
Days passed, but Anjana never gave up.
Lord Shiva’s Special Blessing
One day, Lord Shiva was pleased with Anjana’s prayers.
He decided to bless her with a special son.
But this was no ordinary blessing!
The child would have amazing strength and divine powers.
Lord Shiva chose Vayu Dev, the God of Wind, to help bring his blessing to Anjana.
With Vayu Dev’s help, Anjana received Lord Shiva’s blessing.
Her biggest wish was finally coming true!
A Special Baby Is Born
Soon, Anjana gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.
Anjana and Kesari were filled with joy!
They lovingly welcomed their little son.
The baby was called Anjaneya, meaning the son of Anjana.
He was also called Vayuputra, meaning the Son of the Wind.
But nobody knew just how powerful this little baby would become!
As he grew, his amazing strength began to appear.
One day, he would become known as Lord Hanuman.
He would leap across the ocean, help Lord Rama find Sita, and become one of Lord Rama's greatest devotees.
And it all began with Anjana’s prayers and Lord Shiva’s blessing.
