The Power Hanuman Did Not Know

For a big part of his life, Hanuman did not know how powerful he really was.
He had amazing strength.
He could do incredible things.
But he did not know it.
His powers were already inside him.
He just had not discovered them yet.

Hanuman stands thoughtfully with his gada, unaware of the great strength hidden inside him.

Jambavan Reminds Hanuman

Then one day, Jambavan reminded Hanuman of what he was capable of.
He told Hanuman about his strength.
About his courage.
About the things he could do.
And suddenly, Hanuman started believing in himself.
He realised,
“I can do this.”

Hanuman Takes the Great Leap

And then he took the great leap across the ocean.

Hanuman leaps confidently across the vast ocean after discovering his hidden strength.

Jambavan did not give Hanuman any new power.
The power was already there.
He only helped Hanuman discover it.

Your Hidden Skills

And maybe we are a little like Hanuman too.
Every one of us has different skills.
But we may not know what they are yet.
Maybe you are great at drawing.
Maybe you are good at solving problems.
Maybe you can make people laugh.
Maybe you are good at sports.
Maybe you understand animals really well.
Maybe you can tell wonderful stories.
Maybe you are a great listener.
Or maybe your skill is something you have not even tried yet.

Jambavan encourages young Hanuman and reminds him of his great strength and courage.

Keep Exploring

That is why we need to explore.
Try drawing.
Try dancing.
Try building.
Try writing.
Try a new sport.
Try solving puzzles.
Try helping someone.
Try something that feels difficult.

Some things you will enjoy.
Some things you may not.
Some things you may be bad at in the beginning.
That is okay.
Every time you try something new, you learn a little more about yourself.

Become Your Own Jambavan

Hanuman was lucky.
He had Jambavan to remind him of his hidden strength.
We may have parents, teachers and friends who help us too.
But we can also become our own Jambavan.
We can keep exploring.
Keep trying.
Keep learning.

Because somewhere inside you...
there may be a skill you haven't discovered yet.

Moral: We all have hidden strengths and talents. Keep exploring, trying new things, and believing in yourself you may discover something amazing inside you.
