“Why has everything stopped growing?”

Veda stared at the little garden behind her school. The flowers were closed, the leaves were drooping, and even the tiny plants looked weak.

Tomorrow was the school garden show. But how could they show a garden without beautiful flowers?

Veda decided to solve the mystery!

The Secret of the Garden

Wearing her beautiful peacock green dress, Veda began looking for clues.

She touched the soil. It was too wet!

Then she noticed that the tall plants were blocking sunlight from the smaller ones.

“Aha! The plants need the right amount of water, sunlight, and space!” she exclaimed.

Veda carefully moved the pots into better places and stopped watering the wet soil.

The Wisdom of Goddess Siddhidatri

As she worked, she remembered what her teacher had said that morning.

“On the ninth day of Navratri, we worship Goddess Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Maa Durga. Her name means the giver of siddhis, or special spiritual accomplishments. She blesses devotees with wisdom and spiritual strength.”

Veda smiled. She had used wisdom to discover what the garden needed!

A Beautiful New Beginning

The next morning, Veda rushed to the garden.

The leaves looked fresh, and a few flowers had begun to open!

“We did it!” she cheered.

Her teacher smiled. “Your peacock green dress is perfect for today. This colour represents growth, harmony, freshness, and positivity.”

Veda looked at the happy little plants.

She understood that success was not about rushing. It was about making wise choices and caring for things properly.

With folded hands, she thanked Goddess Siddhidatri for inspiring wisdom and strength.

Moral: True success comes from wisdom, balance, and thoughtful actions.
