The Mystery of the Two Trees

One day, two huge trees suddenly fell with a loud crash!

But no one had cut them down. Who had done this?

And why did two shining men appear from the fallen trees?

How Lord Krishna Broke the Curse

Long ago, Kubera, the god of wealth, had two sons named Nalakuvara and Manigriva.

They were very rich and proud. They thought they were better than others and did not respect anyone.

One day, Sage Narada saw their rude behaviour. He decided to teach them a lesson and cursed them to become two Arjuna trees.

Sage Narada speaks to Nalakuvara and Manigriva, the two proud brothers, to teach them an important lesson about humility.

But he also gave them hope.

"One day, Lord Krishna will free you," he said.

Many years passed. The two brothers stood as trees in Gokul, waiting for that day.

One day, little Krishna was tied to a wooden mortar by his mother, Yashoda.

Mother Yashoda lovingly ties baby Krishna to a wooden grinding mortar outside their home in Gokul.

Krishna began crawling, dragging the heavy mortar behind him.

He moved between the two Arjuna trees, but the mortar got stuck!

Krishna pulled with great strength.

CRASH!

Both trees fell to the ground!

Suddenly, two shining men appeared from the fallen trees. They were Nalakuvara and Manigriva!

The brothers folded their hands before Krishna.

The two brothers bow respectfully before baby Krishna after being freed from their curse.

"We were proud and foolish. Now we understand our mistake," they said.

They thanked Lord Krishna for freeing them and promised to be humble and respectful.

Lord Krishna blessed them, and they happily returned to their heavenly home.

Baby Krishna raises his hand in blessing as Nalakuvara and Manigriva kneel before him with folded hands.

Moral of the Story: Accept your mistakes, learn from them, and always be humble.
